VESTAL -- An $8 million sexual discrimination lawsuit has been filed against Binghamton University, by a former assistant women's basketball coach.
Elizabeth Naumovski says there were rumors and accusations that she had an affair with an adult female student.
She claims University employees were the ones circulating the rumors.
She also says because of her gender and perceived sexual orientation, she was treated differently than male coaches.
She was fired in March of last year.
University Spokesperson Gail Glover says BU has no comment at this point, since the University hasn't been served with the suit yet.
